About

Rahel was born in Michigan and raised in Seattle, where she resides now her puppy. She traces her roots deep in the village of Adi Naamen, Eritrea. 

 

An alumna of the University of Washington, Rahel received her BA in International Studies at the Jackson School, with minors in African Studies and Global Health. After college, she took off to explore a life in Brooklyn, NY. There, she gained a wealth of character building experience before making her way back on the west coast. 

 

Rahel enjoys trips, having traveled across the United States, Eritrea, Yemen, France, Spain, Canada, Peru, Colombia, Barbados, Puerto Rico and the United Arab Emirates.

 

She pays homage to the legacies of Eritrean independence, Black feminism, and hip hop.
